There are two primary parent organizations at Bishop LeBlond High School. The booster club is a fundraising organization which raises money through membership, concession sales, Spirit Shop sales, and various other fundraising efforts. Their funds are targeted for the purchase of athletic uniforms, supplies, and equipment. Excess funds are spent on other amenities for LeBlond students, faculty, and staff. In recent years, booster club funds have gone towards the purchase of sound equipment, weight room equipment, website design, furniture, choir robes, and building and grounds improvements. Anyone can become a member of the booster club by purchasing a membership.
The Parent/Teacher Organization's primary role within the school is to organize and facilitate concession operations for the annual Bishop LeBlond Carnival, each September. Officers of the organization prepare, setup, and organize volunteers to sell concession products throughout the four day event. The carnival concessions are a tremendous fundraiser in support of the general operating budget of the school. All parents are inherently members of this organization. To become an officer, please contact Development Coordinator Kerry Shepherd.
