Thank you for considering Bishop LeBlond High School. No deserving student is denied an education at Bishop LeBlond because of financial need. Financial assistance and scholarships are available to offset tuition cost.
Freshman Registration Registration for in-coming freshmen, Class of 2013, will be February , 2008. Applications after that date for the Class of 2013 may be made by calling the school, 816-279-1629 ext. 115, and asking for Laura Elder, Advancement Director. Tuition for the 2008-2009 school year is $4,300 for students whose family supports a Catholic parish which supplements its member's tuition costs, and $4,700 for those not registered in a Catholic parish.
Transfer Students Bishop LeBlond will accept students in good standing from other high schools. Students are generally not allowed to transfer in for the senior year, unless they have just moved to St. Joseph. Interested parties should call the principal. In order to be considered for transfer all academic, discipline, standardized test results and attendance records must be sent to Bishop LeBlond prior to acceptance. Open House Bishop LeBlond will host an open house to allow area 8th graders and their parents a close-up look at our school and our academic, athletic and extra-curricular programs. This year the open house will be on Sunday, October 26, 2008 beginning at 1 p.m. in Grace gym and ending at 3 p.m. No advance registration is necessary for this event.
Shadow Program If your family is wondering about Bishop LeBlond, your student is encouraged to spend a day shadowing an LB student. The student will go through a daily schedule of classes and be able to interact with LB students, faculty and staff. Interested parent/guardian, please call Laura Elder, Advancement Director, at 816-279-1629 ext. 115. The Advancement Office will arrange a Shadow Day.
School Tours Parents and prospective students are always welcome to tour Bishop LeBlond. Visitors are encouraged to arrange a time when school is in session to gain a more complete picture of daily life at Bishop LeBlond.
