Snow Days
Per the family handbook, school cancellation due to inclement weather will be announced on KQ2 television and radio stations KFEQ or KKJO after 6 a.m. Please do not call the school. Make sure the cancellation announcement you see or hear says St. Joseph Catholic Schools. We will also use our School Reach system to notify you of school cancellations due to weather. If you are not receiving automated calls from us, please let us know so we can add your number to the list. Bishop LeBlond will coordinate its decision with the Catholic elementary schools. This decision may or may not coincide with the decision of the St. Joseph Public Schools unless the cancellation is for heavy snow. Because the Catholic schools do not have bus service, we will usually not cancel classes because of extreme temperatures only. Bishop LeBlond rarely dismisses school early due to inclement weather. A parent/guardian may choose to pick up his/her student early if they deem it necessary. However, any student absence when school is in session (except school competitions or school-sponsored field trips) is counted against perfect attendance.
Show your Eagle pride by purchasing one of the new Eagle flags for $30 from the Booster Club. Turn in your check in an envelope marked "Flag order" to the LB office to get your flag. Let's paint the town purple.
Purchase of textbooks may be accomplished through Back to Books. Follow this link to reach Back to Books: https://www.backtobooks.com/bishopleblond.htm
