Mission Statement - Our mission as a Catholic, college preparatory school is to provide a quality education by embracing academic excellence and promoting social and spiritual growth.

Vision Statement - Bishop LeBlond High School, a co-educational Catholic school of the Diocese of Kansas City - St. Joseph, is founded on Christian principles and Benedictine tradition. Bishop LeBlond provides a college preparatory program that encourages growth in religious faith, fosters service to others and guides career exploration. Bishop LeBlond encourages participation in a host of extracurricular activities.

Bishop LeBlond believes there are certain key elements essential to achieving its goal of overall excellence. These are as follows:

Parental involvement is pivotal to having a quality education. Bishop LeBlond seeks to enhance parental involvement by strongly encouraging volunteerism and stewardship.

To prepare students for a culturally diverse world, LeBlond aspires to provide a value-based education to a diverse student body. To that end, Bishop LeBlond accepts students of all ethnic backgrounds and faiths.

As a faith-based institution, all members of the LeBlond community have an obligation to hold themselves to the highest standards of behavior and Christian values.

To achieve its long-range goals, LeBlond must reach out beyond the immediate school community for support. It will strive to develop strong and mutually beneficial working relationships with the parishes and parochial elementary schools, as well as the greater St. Joseph community.

When Bishop LeBlond achieves its vision, the school will be considered an indispensable asset to the entire St. Joseph community because it will provide a quality faith-based education that develops model citizens and principled leaders. This will help LeBlond fulfill its Benedictine calling "so that in all things God may be glorified."
