Profile: Bishop
LeBlond High School, founded in 1960 by the Benedictine Sisters
of Atchison, Kansas is a Diocesan comprehensive school, grades
nine through twelve.

LeBlond offers a diversified program
to develop students as lifelong learners--spiritually, intellectually,
physically and socially.
Bishop LeBlond’s comprehensive academic and co-curricular
program encourages growth in religious faith, skill development,
self-discovery; and aids in career selection.
Accreditations: Accredited by the North
Central Association of Colleges and Schools and by the State of
Missouri.
Enrollment: The 2006-2007 enrollment is 272
students.
Tuition: Tuition for 2007-08 is $4,100
for a student whose family is registered ina Catholic parish and
$4,500 for all other students.. Scholarships and diocesan
aid are available. No deserving student is denied because
of finances.
Faculty: Twenty-three faculty (including administrators),
7 with Master’s Degrees and one PhD. The student-faculty
ratio is 14:1.
Students: More than 97% of the Class of 2006
are seeking college degrees.
Seventy-five percent of all students are consistently involved
in an extra-curricular activity.
An average of 50% of LeBlond students are on the honor roll
with at least a 3.5 GPA.
