Financing

Bishop LeBlond High School provides a variety of scholarships and tuition assistance to help families afford a Catholic education. Scholarship and tuition assistance applications are made available each year in early February. The school also hosts an information session where parents can learn more about the application process and exactly what assistance is available.  The Financial Aid Meeting this year for the 2012/2013 school year is February 6, 2012, at 6:00 p.m. in Grace gym.

In addition to the numerous family and organizational scholarships offered in 2011 the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph created a new scholarship program for families with more than one child enrolled in Catholic schools. This scholarship, the Honoring Family Scholarship, provided a $750 scholarship to each family who had more than one student enrolled in Catholic K-12 education and who applied.

Applications for tuition assistance are processed through a national company, Smart Tuition. These applications require information from the 2011 tax return and must be submitted by 4:00 p.m. March 30, 2012, for the 2012/2013 school year.

The administration of Bishop LeBlond will not allow finances to prevent a family from enrolling their child at Bishop LeBlond. Every effort is made to allow a student to attend LB. In addition, administrators will work with families whose financial circumstances change.
