We have access to a new computer program that will benefit our students, and some parents, in a tremendous way. It is named KUDER. The teachers had an In-Service on this program on Jan. 3. KUDER has been available to the public schools for quite some time, but, now with additional funding, it is being offered to private schools and parochial schools, as well. This on-line program can assist in college and scholarship searches; it can be an opportunity to explore careers. KUDER can give tips and advice in compiling a portfolio or a resume. You may get material for access to KUDER from the Counselor’s office or go directly to mo.kuder.com and follow the prompts. Go to www. kuder.com. Click on new users. Create a unique user name and password. Be sure to write it down for future reference. The school access code for Bishop LeBlond is 11303 and the zip code is 64506. When you want to take one of the three assessments, you'll need our batch codes. For the Career Search, the code is I723255CPT. For the Skills Assessment, the code is S723254CPT. For the work values inventory, the code is V723256CPT. It's a great way for students, and their parents, to examine their career interests, skills and work values.
