50-57 Bishop LeBlond fell to University Academy in the championship game of their own tournament, 57 - 50. The team played a good game, but was unable to close a consistent 4 - 7 point deficit throughout the game. Junior Grant Gillaspie led the team with 25 points and was named to the all-tournament team. Joe Voltmer added 7 in the loss.
This game was also the last for interim head coach Greg Kastner, who will relinquish the team to recovered head coach Steve Vertin. Coach Kastner leaves the team with a 5 - 5 record and led them to the championship game of the holiday tournament.
