The Golden Eagle baseball team has had much success the past several years. For the past 24 years, the team has been under the guidance of Head Coach Greg Kastner. In that time, the team has won eleven district titles, including a Class 3 District 16 championship in 2010. LeBlond baseball competes at the varsity and junior varsity levels. The team plays home games at Bartlett Park, Hyde Park, and historic Phil Welch Stadium. They made history in 2011 by being the first high school team to host a baseball game at MWSU's new Griffon Spring Sports Complex. Coach Kastner is assisted by Wayne Miller.
2011 Season - After winning the 2010, Class 3, District 16 baseball title, the 2011 team advanced to the title game of the Class 2, District 16 before falling in the championship game. Congratulations to the following athetes who received post-season honors:
