A Close-Knit Catholic Community.......

In April 2012, through the efforts of the Bishop LeBlond Advisory Council, and in conjunction with alumni from both Christian Brothers and the Convent of the Sacred Heart, the principal of Bishop LeBlond High School, Dr. Solon Haynes, introduced the new Bishop LeBlond crest, which honors Christian Brothers, the Convent of the Sacred Heart, Bishop LeBlond and the Benedictine nuns.  Dr. Haynes reflected upon the history of Catholic secondary education in St. Joseph and its importance through the years.  The last Convent of the Sacred Heart class graduated in 1960 and the last Christian Brothers class to graduate was in 1970.  There are now more than 4,000 Bishop LeBlond, Christian Brothers and Convent of the Sacred Heart living alumni.  These alumni reside in all 50 states and in many countries, and continue to provide their prayerful support.
